I like the other features of the scanner "bluetooth" (No cords shut in doors) and a Bluetooth DVM. Which of these should be used for a 2010? Snap on tells me that 2010 is different from '09? And that '09 would behave as I have seen at the dealer. The choices are: ISO9141, KEYWORD 2000 and CAN KW2000. My next question is what "language" or OS does a 2010 Jetta TDI sedan use? Are 20 the same? As currently Snap on only goes up to 2009 in VW with the latest software. Before entering the program it asks if you want to auto detect or enter the operating system manually. ![]() ![]() I have seen the actual program in use at the dealer twice and this, so far, does not behave the same. I can see the long coding and it appears that I could change it, but from my limited knowledge of VAG-Com I would not want to attempt it. I can see them all but it gives me no help. It gives me no options to make changes for the various systems. I can only read software levels and part numbers. (Access the various computers and make changes.) In order to do that you must place the scanner in "Expert mode" which I have done. ![]() Before I purchased it I was assured by the Local Snap On Diagnostics Area rep that I could do everything that Vag Com does. I just purchased a Snap-on "Verdict" Scanner.
